Keller Class Schedule - 1 to 11 of 11

iconIntro to Cheer 1

This is a class for 3-4 years old with little or no cheerleading experience. It is a 1-hour class in which basic, fundamental tumbling and cheerleading skills are taught. Athletes will learn body control and awareness using the Tumbl Trak to practice basic body position and jump techniques, and they will be taught basic cheerleading motions and jumps. The majority of the class time will be spent on basic tumbling skills using fun and interactive games as teaching tools.

iconIntro to Cheer 2

This is a 1-hour class for 4-year olds with prior cheerleading or tumbling experience and 5 -year olds with little to no experience which moves at a faster pace than our Intro to Cheer 1 Class. The class focuses on building basic to intermediate tumbling skills and increasing body control and awareness. Tumbling skills like handstands, cartwheels, and forward and backward rolls are taught using fun and interactive games as teaching tools. Athletes will also learn basic cheerleading motion technique and jump technique.

iconBasic Cheer 1

This is a 1-hour class for athletes ages 6 & above with little or no tumbling or cheerleading experience. They will learn fundamental skills such as: forward and backward roll, handstand, cartwheel, and bridge. Athletes will also work on basic jump and motion technique.

iconBasic Cheer 2

This is a 1-hour class for athletes ages 6 & above with some tumbling or cheerleading experience. Athletes will perfect the fundamental skills learned in Basic Cheer 1 and learn new skills such as dive rolls, cartwheel lock, handstands, front limber, and back bend kick-overs. Athletes will also continue to improve basic jump and motion technique.

iconIntermediate Cheer 1

This is a 1-hour class for athletes with moderate tumbling or cheerleading experience. There is increased difficulty in the skills learned and a higher emphasis on technique and form. Skills learned include: back extension rolls, round offs, back walk-overs, and front walk-overs. Jumps technique is also included in each class.

iconIntermediate Cheer 2

This is a 1-hour class for athletes with prior tumbling or cheerleading experience. The focus of this class is back handspring training - both standing back handspring and round off back handspring. Fundamental tumbling skills and jumps will also be perfected.

iconIntermediate Cheer 3

This is a 1-hour class for athletes with prior tumbling or cheerleading experience. The mininum requirements are perfected standing back handspring and round-off back handspring. Intermediate 3 will focus on learning standing and round off back handspring series and punch front. Athletes will continue to perfect fundamental tumbling skills and work on jump technique.

iconAdvanced Cheer 1

This is a 1-hour class for athlete with extensive training in tumbling or cheerleading. Minimum requirements are standing back handspring series and round-off back handspring series. Skills learned include round off back handspring back tuck and standing backhandspring back tuck. Athletes will also learn to connect jumps to standing back handsprings.

iconAdvanced Cheer 2

This is a 1-hour class for athletes with advanced training in tumbling or cheerleading. Extreme emphasis on technique and form will enhance your child's tumbling ability. Skills taught include: standing back tucks, round back handspring layout, standing series back handsprings to layout, and advanced front tumbling like punch front steput and front handspring front flips. Athletes will also be taught harder jump to tumbling combinations like jump to back handspring back tuck.

iconElite Cheer

This is a 1-hour class for athletes with elite level training in tumbling or cheerleading. Skills taught include: round-off back handspring full, standing series back handsprings to full, arabians, and standing fulls. Athletes will also continue to elite level jump to tumbling combinations like jump to standing back tuck.
